Review on Dorman 79540 Driver Replacement Interior by Shane Grosland

The repair is a bit trickier than it sounds as you have to place all the connecting rods in the door EXACTLY as they were on the old part or it won't work. I had to remove the plastic door panel. The pull handle feels a bit thinner/flexible than the old one, but so far after a few months it's holding up. The only thing that annoys me a bit is that after installation, when I wiped the dust off a brand new part with a dry cloth, about half of the white "LOCK" lettering was immediately removed. Now it looks just as old/worn as the original on the other door so I've learned to live with it.
