Poor Power Switch Placement

I wore a collar for three days. It worked well enough for the time I was using it. But I can't say anything about durability. I have two dogs. They like to play. Nothing gross. They bite each other and roll. Well, the tooth went right through the power switch and broke the switch that's soldered to the circuit board in the receiver case. I'm sure it was an accident. $70 crash The button's material is very thin and the button drive sits just below it, held in place by two tiny solder threads. The power button should be on the back of the device, not the top. The interior would be fine if the other dog's teeth couldn't reach the button so easily. If you have a dog I would say it's fine. If you have two or more and they start playing, it's a gamble. Definitely a design flawEdit: 8/5/20 So I thought about buying a replacement receiver (PetSpy) combined with a more discreet one so my dogs can play with the collar on. I canceled the purchase. For three days of use, it didn't impress me too much. It was okay, but I didn't really believe in it. There have been some instances where the dog hasn't really responded, even at a higher level. So I bit the bullet and bought a Mini-Educator ET-300. First, I shouldn't have been stingy. Mini-Educator makes PetSpy look like what it really is: cheap Chinese junk. I know the packaging says "designed in the USA, made in China" but it really is rubbish compared to what we are really supposed to be using on our dogs. Now the difference is so clear to me. I'm glad the tooth went through the power button. lesson learned (again)
