When opening the dishwasher door, my old latch did not click all the way into the forward/open position and when I tried to close the door again the latch stuck in the closed position but the reverse partially The bolt prevented the door from closing. As a result, the dishwasher was not sealed. Luckily mine has never worked in this state. Dismantling the door and replacing these parts is easy. This replacement part is different from my original lock but it fits perfectly and works great for multiple washes and about a week of opening and closing the door. Don't be intimidated by the fact that the latch in the photos looks different from your device. It was a simple replacement, plug and play. I recommend watching a specific video guide on YouTube.
