So here I am again, falling in love with what ends up being just another hand-held carbide sharpener. I knew that deep down, but somehow I convinced myself it would work for my axe. The problem is that the tip of the ax never reaches the carbide. I have a regular wooden handle ax but it's too big for this sharpener. I think it should be marketed as an ax sharpener/machete. Ditto for my other "problem solver", the Fiskars version sold at Lowe's. Doesn't work for the same reason as above. After struggling with a purchase today, I ordered a KME ax attachment. I just shouldn't have wasted my time and money on this product.
