This chair is the last and hopefully last work chair I've bought for a long time. I have restless legs syndrome and also tend to focus on the computer. I forget to get up and move as often as I should. I bought the stool in desperation after using 4 or 5 work stools which over time became very uncomfortable. Desk chairs ranged from a task chair without armrests to a high-back leather "manager" chair. Everyone had to look for a new home when the leg cramps started again. The chair doesn't let me sit for long, it's not a chair for resting. The seat is soft but dome-shaped, so it "encourages" you to get up and move. The base tilts forward slightly, saving me from stooping. My posture at the table hasn't been this good in years. I have high hopes for the stool, plan to update the review in a few months.
