Poor quality of replacement parts

In November 2018 I installed Performance Power Stop calipers on the front of my car. Installation wasn't difficult and everything went very easily. Everything was fine for a year until a few weeks ago I noticed that I wasn't rolling when I stopped on a small hill (manual transmission car) with my foot off the brake. I inspect my brakes and lo and behold, my passenger rotor is screeching. hot. For example, if you throw some snow at it, it will sizzle and turn into hot steam. I take the front right brake apart and notice that the piston is slightly extended and the seal is cracked (see photo). Now I'm not immediately enthusiastic, because these have only been in operation for a year and the seal has already been cracked. But maybe it's not a caliper (wishful thinking) but I have a bad rotor or something. So I disassemble the other side for comparison. The caliper on the driver's side (good side) looks a lot better. There are no cracks on the gasket, the piston does not protrude so much. But heck, I'm still changing rotors to get rid of them. When I get to work the next morning, the driver's side is normally warm, but the passenger's side is sweltering again. My problem is definitely a defective year-old caliper that now needs to be replaced again. I emailed Power Stop to explain my situation and never got a response from them (shock). All in all, if you're not worried about the durability of your new calipers or the lack of after-sales service, this is a great buy.
