Was a direct replacement for a broken switch on a mill. Just need a SPST, a backlit switch. Wanted to change the bracket to accommodate this switch but it fit perfectly. Accidental Bonus. Read another review that said they broke down quickly. I quickly flipped the switch after installation and no problem. Will be updated if it fails prematurely. FYI: With a 14g jumper cable with connectors on both ends, you can bypass the faulty switch by directly connecting and hot-switching it always hot. Simply plug into the wall when needed and unplug when not in use.
