A mediocre product is good for a caliper
The tool seems to be made of decent materials, but the tips do not converge (not the same length and not in the same plane) and the flat levers are easy slide out of the plane together. May not greatly affect the reproducibility of the measurement, but will certainly introduce some variability. At least they are cheap.
