According to the characteristics, the range of 650 - 2022 rpm is declared, but in fact, when using PWM control, it confidently starts from 400 rpm. The fan in this mode is absolutely inaudible, but there is no air pressure. The "breath" begins to be felt closer to 900 rpm, at the same time the noise appears. Up to 1200 rpm, the noise is quite comfortable, but it is higher than many analogues at the same speed. At 1500-1600 rpm, the noise is already uncomfortable, but the air flow is serious. At maximum 1900-2022 rpm - the fan roars loudly and very unpleasantly. We must pay tribute to the balancing - in the entire speed range there are no vibrations. Despite the high performance, this fan is hardly suitable for use as a processor fan, except perhaps for "cold" or unloaded systems. When installed on a radiator at high speeds, the sound is even louder than when installed in a case. And, perhaps, due to the larger number of blades, air whistle is sometimes heard, which was not the case with the regular seven-bladed Zalman fan.
