Bought because I cut a hole in the hood and put an air intake through. I also live in the Pacific Northwest where it rains a lot. So of course I needed something for the rain. I bought it by accident and I'm happy with it. Watch out for the weather, the rain just drips. I also park my car on the street and remember this is how I put the air intake on the hood. At night when it rains, it drips lightly onto the metal parts of my air intake. I just put on a plastic bag at night. I've never had an issue where it actually affected my performance. In general? It's worth it. A YEAR IN REVIEW I've been driving and hiking a lot lately. The sleeve is badly worn but still on the filter and basically keeping it clean. I will buy this case again in the future.
