Must have for water repellent filter

Bought a second one, lent our RZR to relatives and the first one was covered in mud and thrown away. After washing it would be like new, I bought a second one with no regrets.

Pros
  • Good price
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Really repels water and doesn't lose strength!

Okay, I was a little concerned about the dry filter, but with the Hydro-Protector I'm not worried about water getting into my filter, damn it, even when washing the car (with the Fairing where the fog lights are removed) no problem and 0 loss of power!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Hard to say

The lag time doesn't seem that bad.

Works until you fill the water with force. This adds a delay as air enters my throttle body. The lag time is short enough for me to adapt and get used to. Since I keep most of the water out of my inlet and filter, and keep my filter clean, the lag time doesn't seem that bad.

Pros
  • Surprisingly
Cons
  • There are nuances

Both situations should be avoided as much as possible, regardless of whether

A must have for your Injen cold air intake system. This cover prevents water from being sucked into the intake system when driving through heavy rain or larger than usual puddles. However, both situations should be avoided to the best of one's ability, but in any case. I highly recommend this case. Best peace of mind/insurance for $20.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Minor problems

Works great, keeps the filter clean.

Bought a 4.5" Injen air filter for X-1018-BR to fit a 1996 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. Fits great, looks great and works phenomenal. Already driven in the rain and when I opened the hood in the garage this sign prevented dirt and particles from entering my filter. It only takes 2 minutes to remove and rinse, then blot with a towel and reinstall. Highly recommend Buy it for any car with high characteristics or excellent tuning!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model

good complement to intake filter

This works in the sense that you don't intentionally submerge your car in water while you're on the gas. When I drove over puddles, I kept stepping on the clutch to be on the safe side. Just because you have that splash screen doesn't mean you have to go flat out when it rains; I prefer to have extra protection by easing off the gas when it rains. Don't be the guy who bothers to spend $20 on hydrolocking and intentionally tries to hydrolock their engines only to complain that it doesn't work…

Pros
  • great overall performance
Cons
  • weak

Great for the price!

As stated in the title. I have an older K&N RP universal air filter - something like a universal air filter - that I connected to my cold air intake on my 2002 Honda Accord V6. The filter sits directly in front of the fender paneling on the driver's side and directly above the floor pan. Of course the pan has cutouts all over it and the rain where I live can get nasty every few years so this was my best bet for now because it's almost spring. I still have to dodge big puddles the way people…

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Frequency

Do the job and do it right!

Bought because I cut a hole in the hood and put an air intake through. I also live in the Pacific Northwest where it rains a lot. So of course I needed something for the rain. I bought it by accident and I'm happy with it. Watch out for the weather, the rain just drips. I also park my car on the street and remember this is how I put the air intake on the hood. At night when it rains, it drips lightly onto the metal parts of my air intake. I just put on a plastic bag at night. I've never had an…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
