good complement to intake filter
This works in the sense that you don't intentionally submerge your car in water while you're on the gas. When I drove over puddles, I kept stepping on the clutch to be on the safe side. Just because you have that splash screen doesn't mean you have to go flat out when it rains; I prefer to have extra protection by easing off the gas when it rains. Don't be the guy who bothers to spend $20 on hydrolocking and intentionally tries to hydrolock their engines only to complain that it doesn't work and has to pay over $3,000 in engine repairs.
