Not secure and will not work with iPhone 12

Well I read a review that said this router was Editors Pick. So I bought it thinking it would be very secure and really powerful to connect all my devices to it. There were some typical setup issues after connecting the router, but it turned out that this router was taking longer to connect to my cable. modem and connect your network to it. Security was a big issue from the start. My devices complained that the connection wasn't that secure. I tried to ignore it, but it was a bad sign. Also, since all of my devices are new and up to date, they have not complained about the security of using the router that came with my cable provider. Again, I figured this router would basically save you $5 a month. The last straw was that I couldn't get my iPhone 12 pro max to surf the web. I was able to connect to the router, but the router would not forward my connection to the modem, allowing me to surf the internet through it. WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS. This is not good. I think this router needs to be improved in terms of security and tested on more modern hardware.
