I bought these to save a few bucks. They looked great when they received them. I had to replace those on my bike as they were worn out and broken causing my hands to turn black after riding. After putting them on and almost losing the brass adapters on the cables I finally got them installed and when I tightened the housing they were tight which prevented the handles from spinning freely like they should! In fact, the fit was so bad they got stuck or didn't move at all (didn't want that when riding!). As I tried to turn it, hoping it was just a bump or something on the body rubbing, the grip in my hand loosened. (I would have shared a picture, but Revain removed that ability, ugh!) There is some glue on the plastic handle. I am returning this junk and buying Avon pens as I should have started with them.
