Excellent comfortable grip.

Installed on my Iron 1200. Looks good and goes well with the bike. They feel 1000 times better than stocks. I've seen a lot of reviews about the grip edge not matching the HD body on the clutch side. That's not what this grip is for. Doesn't go through the body. it stays flush with the body, just like the throttle side! You'll need glue on the side of the clutch to keep it strong, but that's about it!

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • not reliable

Requires longer end cap screws

The aluminum case end cap screw holes were ripped out during initial installation because the screws were not long enough. If the screws were a bit longer, that wouldn't be a problem. I would return them but I damaged my old grips and with the gas booster removed the screws were long enough to go through the stripped part and then serviced like grips without the function I bought them for.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Look good but cheaply made

These grips were easy to install and look great on my Yamaha Warrior. But that's where the problem started. At first the throttle started to stick, it doesn't rotate smoothly in the throttle. Second, the crank spun on the throttle and released it instantly throughout my ride. Now I have to go to my local bike shop and buy some glue to try to put it back on. I asked the mechanic about the gluing, he suggested sanding it down a bit.

Looks great but the quality sucks.

Very easy install but literally same day and the throttle is not attached very well to its own plastic housing; so it pivots internally and allows the throttle stick to return to its normal relaxed position. You then have to rotate the entire handle in the opposite direction to realign it where you want it. (Every time you stop) Also, the rubber inserts kept trying to pop out, and some got pushed so far into the grip that you had to fish them back out and seat them properly in the grooves. Good

Incorrect information from Revain and the seller.

I have a 2010 Harley v-Rod Muscle and when I bought this item Revain indicated it would match my bike on my garage list. And after waiting a long time for my parts to be ready to install I was shocked. that this handle and only on the left is not suitable for switch assemblies. It's too big to fit in the round holder in the switch. And you can't just leave it without some sort of mount for fear the handle will slip out while riding. Now I've ordered another one and have to wait for it to…

They work but with modification

Bought these for my 2004 Honda Shadow Aero 750 because they are on the list of bikes they should be compatible with and they look so cool. and they feel pretty good. They will NOT fit a 2004 Honda Shadow Aero 750 without modifications. When my buddy takes his dremel and cuts a groove for the cables to run through and the cable end brackets are slightly different than the factory. The gas side insert doesn't attach very securely to the inside of the grip, so you'll need to put silicone or some…

Cheap and doesn't fit well on my bike.

I bought these to save a few bucks. They looked great when they received them. I had to replace those on my bike as they were worn out and broken causing my hands to turn black after riding. After putting them on and almost losing the brass adapters on the cables I finally got them installed and when I tightened the housing they were tight which prevented the handles from spinning freely like they should! In fact, the fit was so bad they got stuck or didn't move at all (didn't want that when…

Disappointing quality and design, great comfort and looks

I LOVE the style and feel. With bare hands you will feel like Superman. The problem, as others have said, is the design and poor manufacture. I installed the left grip and it fit perfectly and seemed solidly built. Then I installed the throttle and on the first turn the rubber outside grip separated from the throttle tube. I just removed it from the end of the handlebars, the throttle tube remained intact with the throttle controls. I cleaned it with degreaser, dried it and coated the gas tube…

Cons

Watch out for excess glue inside

They're cheap and they work, but you have to prep them first and check for FOD inside. Also remember that these grips are hollow and not solid rubber. The large rubber nubs that hold you in place while in use are hollow and not securely held in place by any type of rubber adhesive. That might be fine, but since it's hollow there's VERY little rubber on the left grip to hold it to the handlebars. Consider using extra glue when installing. My left hand crank can be turned a little with little…
