I have used this board in a variety of situations which is why I bought it and it was great to have in the kitchen. For slicing and serving cheese and fruit, I can just chop them up and pop them straight into the serving bowl and it's all there. I just use a serving tray for bread and crackers and all the toppings sit comfortably right there. On other occasions I cook veggies and use metal utensils to store any scraps which makes clean up really easy.
