Review on Dorman Window Motor and Regulator Assembly: Front Driver Side for Honda Models, 741-009 by Carlos Henley

I am very sorry. I received the part, installed it and then found that the sliding part that holds the window is not securely attached to the jamb that is bolted to the door. I removed it and was able to easily move the runner. This made the window "THUNK" every time it went up and down and would obviously fail. That seemed like a design flaw to me but I contacted Dorman and they said it was a marriage and should be returned to Revane. Revain immediately sent out a new one and, SORRY, the new one is the same as the previous one. WRONG DESIGN. The attached photo shows a large uncontrolled gap between the slider and the rack. The part of the Honda that I removed was perfect for this. Too bad and a lot of wasted time.
