Not what it should be
Having worked in the heavy equipment and spray paint industries I can tell you that the fittings on either side of this regulator are not standard pipe threads. This is NPS, which stands for National Pipe Straight. Not National Pipe Tapered. A tapered fitting will not seal when threaded into a straight fitting.
