Revainrating 5 out of 5

The Fostex T60RP are perfect in every way

Well I'll start this review by saying these are the best sounding headphones I've ever heard. And I've tried many headphones. Remember that sound is a very personal thing and what I find amazing can just be good for you. In any case, there are two things about these headphones that I think are better than any other headphones I've tried, and those two things are imaging and treble. The image in these headphones is incredibly accurate. So much clarity and resolution. There is one song that I thought only one singer was singing on before using these headphones in some parts of the music. With these headphones I can hear other singers clearly behind the normal ones, as well as hear female voices and male voices clearly behind. For me it was a pleasant revelation. In games, ultra-accurate visualization helped me a lot when footsteps and enemies came from different locations. The highs are sweet, okay, maybe not a good description, but to me they're sweet to my ears. Highly pleasant, clear, detailed. Mids are great too. The voice clarity in these headphones is amazing. There is so much texture, resolution and clarity in the middle that I just can't find the words to describe it. The bottom part is perfect for me. If you like insane amounts of bass, look elsewhere as they are very detailed and driven by low frequencies. The bass is perfect for me, very tight and effective. Everything about the sound is just amazing. The processing quality is also impressive. They are beautiful. This tree is so beautiful. The headphones are very robust and well made. Detachable cable! Daiiiiii! Brilliant! But fostex didn't stop there! fostex also did some internal cabling to support balanced connections! Brilliant! The cable that comes with the headphones is very good, a bit short if you don't have an amp on the table next to you, but you can buy any extension cable you want. The pads are super comfortable. They are of very very good quality. Man, these are the best headphones I've ever tried.
