I've tried many different phone mounts. This one is by far the best, mostly because it's simple. The ball that attaches to the dashboard takes up 70% less space than other phone mounts. This is a huge benefit when you want to keep your phone within reach and as close to your eyes as possible (focused on the road). Turning off the road is dangerous. Period. The closer your phone/GPS is, the faster you can get your eyes back to where they should be. Because of the small footprint, I can place it closer to my radio buttons, shifters, 4x4 controls, or trailer brake controls than any other mount I've tried before. my only concern was if the phone would stay where I wanted it. Spring. The design is so well done that my phone has never been dropped or even moved from where I put it. Now I will always buy them. Bonus: The little disk that attaches to your device is a powerful magnet. This creates device mounts everywhere.
