I bought this without hesitation because one of my favorite grocery sites - Serious Eats - told me to. HUGE MISTAKE. This thing doesn't grind meat. After spending 3 hours in the kitchen, grinding as hard as possible, disassembling and reassembling this appliance multiple times to get the stuck meat out, and trying unsuccessfully to keep the suction cup in place, I was left with just enough meat for 4 miserable burgers. . Bloody chunks of meat were strewn across the walls and around the counter. I was exhausted physically and emotionally. Eventually the plastic really cracked under all the pressure that had to be applied. I thought about vegetarianism. It made more sense to throw the whole contraption in the bin (a common theme in these reviews) than wash it and store it in the closet just to be the object of my grudges. Do not buy.
