This is exactly the laptop stand I was looking for, it's wide enough for a laptop, a mouse and a few small items like my phone and TV remote. The legs can be easily folded in and pulled out a little higher. It's so light I can pick it up with one hand and put it away. This is NOT the kind of thing you can throw a bunch of crap at and expect it won't warp or break. It's not designed to be open all the time, with things everywhere, in one place to stumble upon. This is not something that could be used as a standing desk as we all tend to lean on standing desks and they are not designed to support much downward weight. It also cannot be fixed so it slides around. This is a lap table for occasional use. When you're done with that, fold the legs in and store it upright, out of the way, and it'll last a long time.
