They were wrapped tightly in bubble wrap. They are much lighter than expected. So light that they feel more like the weight of plastic in your hand than the weight of metal spoons. The inside of the shovel appears to be slightly rough and does not have a high gloss finish like the back. See photo. The clip is short on one side. If you use it on a regular 12oz coffee bag like the one I have in the photos, you'll notice that one side of the clip isn't long enough to seal it. I agree as my bag will be closed again. You will need to fold the bag to secure it if you don't have a resealable bag. Size 1 tablespoon.
