Review on UE BOOM 2 After Hours: The Ultimate Waterproof and Shockproof Wireless Bluetooth Speaker by Chris Nako

I really liked this speaker for use in my home. It never went outside and was never flooded. I've used it to turn on music in my basement Pilates studio and in my home massage parlor. Worked fine this morning. Everything is static this afternoon. The internet connection is fine and the music is playing through all other streaming sources in the house. It's been 4 hours on the charger since it stopped working but it didn't matter. I'm very disappointed because to date the sound and battery life has been great and I've been very happy with it. I will try to contact the manufacturer and see if there is any workaround. Changed my rating from 1 to 3. The speaker didn't die; it had to be dropped. The Logitech website is so vast it's unwieldy, and their FAQ didn't help. I finally found a way to email tech support for this product and within a few days/several exchanges I received the correct information to get it working again. I still like the speaker's portability and sound quality. I gave it a 3 because I don't feel it needs to be "disposed" after 4 months; If you put the instructions in the box with the registration materials, it takes several days to find a solution. So a good product that is not necessarily "easy to care for”. There were still issues with this speaker, but when I received the case number from LogiTech Support, they stuck with me and offered suggestions. When the problems with the speaker persisted even after a firmware update, it was replaced free of charge. The process took a few months; I was halfway through on a previously planned vacation and they held the case open until I came back and was ready to look into it again. I've had the new speaker for a few weeks now and so far so good. It produces really good sound and has the longest distance from source to speaker of any speaker I've reviewed.
