Review on 🧴 Flitz Polish Paste - 5.29 oz. Tube in Box Packaging by Katie Gonzalez

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Easy to use, but it's not magic.

I bought a Mitzi Light which has oxidized and become gross after sitting on the ceiling for 3 years. I contacted a company who (so thoughtfully) offered to buy this expensive paste to clean their crappy metal fixtures. So I did it and had high hopes. Unfortunately I wouldn't say it was as fantastic at removing oxidation as I expected and it didn't leave the 'like new' shine I was expecting, more of a greasy finish. While this helped clean the mount, it didn't stop the metal from oxidizing again for two months. I then tried it on my Wesley chair to clean the legs and it worked well, it took me a lot of elbow grease to get the result I was able to get with IMO Clorox wipes but it always was still fine. I then tried it on the tow hook/ball on my truck and it did nothing to remove the rust or clean the once chrome ball - now slightly rusty. Eventually I've used it on some very dusty brass sculptures I have at home and while the dust brushes off I wouldn't say the finish looks nice, polished and shiny like one would expect from this paste. I know, of course, that this will never make anything look brand new again. BUT I expected it to look 50% better than before! The product is fine. It is ideal for light use on lightly used household items. It's not durable at all and doesn't provide the best coating protection for long. To be honest I expected more for this high price.

Cons
