Does exactly what it's supposed to do. WARNING! THIS WILL LEAVE A PENNY SIZED HOLE IN YOUR WALL. Now that it's out of the way, I don't care about the inch-sized hole in the wall. I bought these to mount my Ikea shelves to the wall. They have worked brilliantly for this purpose, as well as every other wall mounting project I've come up with. I highly recommend drilling a hole roughly the diameter of the switch first to ensure it doesn't break off. I have some brick pieces in my apartment and I found them by pre-drilling. If part of the rod hits the cement, braking before the rest of the anchor is in place, this defeats the purpose of the anchor. I will buy them again when I'm gone.
