This display is ridiculous. I bought this to make a nice little Kali Linux machine based on Raspberry Pi 3. The documentation on the adafruit.com link is correct but the key is wrong so adafruit cannot be used to get the required driver to install. Installing software to support this display seems to make a lot of changes to the system. Save time, effort, frustration, and headaches by simply purchasing a similar display with HDMI input. A small HDMI display costs a little more, but it's money well spent. and less money in Swear Jar. Rschunimagu.
