Review on TreasLin Capture Card Gaming Video by Raymond Simmons

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Amazing capture card for the price, just a few things you might need to tweak.

It does what it's supposed to do and doesn't put any additional strain on your GPU and/or CPU. The video is clear but the audio is far from perfect. A few things you may need to work around: - Pass-through feature requires USB power. This means, for example, if you have connected a Nintendo Switch (HDMI) and a monitor (HDMI) via this capture card, but your PC (USB) is switched off, you may not get any signal via HDMI/HDMI. You can adjust the BIOS settings to ensure that USB power is on when your computer is off. (This is usually on by default.) - Audio recorded through this capture card is single channel (mono) and not dual channel (stereo). So don't expect perfect sound from the USB output of this capture card. (Correct me if I'm wrong, maybe I'm doing something wrong.) If your monitor has an audio output, you can use that to record audio. - I had some issues where the capture card's HDMI bandwidth was limited to 1080p. Not sure if this is because the capture card has issues with 1440p monitors or something else. I was able to work around this by setting a custom resolution in the NVIDIA Control Panel under Change Resolution > Customize. (DSR must be off.)
