TreasLin Capture Card Gaming Video Review

We bought this capture card to record my son and I playing video games just for fun and maybe start a youtube channel. This works great for us! Maybe not absolutely high quality, but very good and at a super low price. I highly recommend it so far and it's a fraction of the price as is Elgato etc. We are happy with our capture card.

I bought this item to stream my console game via OBS. I've only had it a day, but my preliminary rating is that it's as good as any other quarter-priced external capture card. This may change over time, but for now I'm happy with the purchase. It records at least 1080p with no visible lag, and after a quick change of settings in OBS, it also records game audio with no issues.

I bought this as a "test sample" for my streaming rig. I have an Xbox Series X and need more streaming capabilities through Streamlabs OBS. Setting up this device was an absolute breeze, no hassle. It's a lot smaller than I thought but works great. You plug it into your USB input and output, it auto-detects and works like a webcam.

It does what it's supposed to do and doesn't put any additional strain on your GPU and/or CPU. The video is clear but the audio is far from perfect. A few things you may need to work around: - Pass-through feature requires USB power. This means, for example, if you have connected a Nintendo Switch (HDMI) and a monitor (HDMI) via this capture card, but your PC (USB) is switched off, you may not get any signal via HDMI/HDMI. Works well. I only post gameplay online so quality doesn't matter. The output image appears a bit grainy on closer inspection, but is otherwise imperceptible. Probably has color restrictions. I don't notice any lag either. I capture on my computer using free, open source capture software.
