Review on 🚪 Don-Jo 90 Metal Kick Plate, Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish- Durable 30" x 6" x 3/64" Thick Plate for Door Protection by Mark Crawford

The color is not black but a very very dark brown that can appear black in certain lighting conditions. I tried to show it in a picture. They come with a protective plastic cover which I only partially pushed back into the picture as I wasn't ready to remove and install it. As others have said, be sure to keep an eye on the screws. They are on the sealed end of the brown wrapper (the part I cut off the end of the wrapper in the 2nd photo). There is a sticker trying to tell you "scr pk. underflap" but it's not a very clear warning as to where the screws are lol. I did have a few extra screws though, which was good because when I cut through the brown packaging I actually cut through the plastic with the screws and almost lost a few screws. I bought two of these and didn't like that the Revain box they came in didn't have any packaging material because they could slip inside the box and get damaged; but luckily it didn't happen to me. I think it's a decent thickness. I bought the same brand and color but a different size for my front door a few years ago and it has held up pretty well. The color doesn't exactly match the color of the front door handle, but that doesn't matter.
