Samsung is not even foolish, it's just dead. If you only have 4 gigabytes of RAM, the possibility simply does not exist; the built-in optimization is of no help. You can run Facebook or a game like "3 in a row" on the remaining memory, but not both at the same time or the phone will crash. Two out of every four megabytes are consumed by the Android operating system, another 700 applications that should make using a smartphone more comfortable, and 500 are reserved by the system. I would strongly discourage anyone from purchasing version 4/128, and at this point I have no idea what to do with this ballast.
