There was a remote control with a few buttons that were unreadable. Is always. I drew this on the keyboard following the instructions. I gave it enough time to dry (overnight). Reassemble the remote and now the buttons work about 80% of the time. A noticeable improvement, but it doesn't (at least on this remote I have) bring its performance up to that of a new one. Buttons on the remote that were a bit unstable (around 50% work) now work 100% of the time. If I had a broken remote, this would be a good product to revive it to copy the commands to the universal remote. It seems best to update the remote button, which isn't 100% out of order but is moving in that direction. This only fixes worn button bugs. So if the problem is related to your remote's logic board, that won't help you. or. So before ordering, open up your remote and make sure everything looks good inside (no corrosion, water damage, chipped patches, etc.).
