Review on MikroTik Dual-Concurrent Access Point: hAP ac Lite RB952Ui-5ac2nD-US by Adithep Saengdern ᠌

Not the best quality, but generally not bad.

Feelings about the router were mixed after using it. On the one hand, it provides the impression of a high-quality item, but on the other hand, there is still something that isn't quite right about it. The lack of even a small wire for connecting to a computer was the first thing that irritated me about the product. After bringing it to my hometown and opening it, I discovered that I was unable to put it together in any way. We have arrived, but the settings have not been reset, I am unable to connect to the Wi-Fi, and there is no wire. They chose to cut costs by not included a cord in the package, which is something that is standard practice even for the most affordable routers. Because I needed a shoelace, I had to make another trip into the city. Second, my mobile modem wouldn't work in it for some reason. It functions quite well in Zayksel, where it is twice as inexpensive, yet something is missing in this location. I had no choice but to connect to the Internet, and after a few hours of fiddling with the modem's settings, I managed to get it working with the router. Simply put, I didn't want to talk to anyone when I was online. I was forced to review the Internet once more, and I couldn't help but wonder why individuals would bother to set up what appears to be already set up here. configured, but not entirely, and not physically present In general, I was successful in locating the configuration that enabled all of my devices to connect to the internet; but, this did not happen instantly. Third, I did not get for a very long time why the internet was moving at such a snail's pace. Before I compared the speeds on the wire (40 megabits) and Wi-Fi, I had no idea which one was faster (5 megabits). In general, I was only able to obtain a quick Wi-Fi connection from a different router, which I wired up to this one via an Ethernet cable. This is how things have been going so far. Fourth. I was never successful in flashing it with an updated firmware. I followed all of the steps in the directions in a variety of different ways, but it was still unsuccessful. My thoughts are conflicting, and I don't know why that is; perhaps the copy I read was defective in some way. It has the feel of quality, although there are certain areas that are incomplete. I am unable to endorse such a product to anyone, and I am at a loss as to which router I should purchase in the future.

Pros
  • 1. An absurdly high number of configuration options 2. There are notches for screwing it into the wall.
Cons
  • Quality
