Review on 🚴 Selle ITALIA Eyelink Mirror: Enhance Your Cycling Safety with this Revolutionary Accessory by Frank Tyrance

Fatal error: poor quality control and usability testing.

Good: I like the overall concept; The mount held onto my SRAM Rival 1 grip fairly securely; easy to install and remove; and the handle is very comfortable. The Bad: The mirror doesn't hold vertical alignment on moderately rough roads and there's no way to tighten it. There is a screw for tightening the horizontal axis but not vertical. At least not the ones you can access easily. There are hidden screws under the mirror, but there's no way to access them. It's not clear how to remove the mirror to access them and I broke mine trying to remove it. Since there are occasional complaints about this, I can only assume poor quality control. They were probably not tightened at the factory or there is a manufacturing defect. Now that the mirror is broken, there is little chance of returning it for a refund. All of this could easily be solved if there was an externally accessible screw to tighten the vertical axis, or better yet, use a ball joint and only have one screw. This speaks for bad design and usability tests. While I'm willing to forgive that level of quality control for a $20 product, it's totally unacceptable at the asking price.
