Used to strap on some patio chairs, works great. This is just the right length to go through the base of the chair and attach to the deck. I found a cool product that slides through deck boards so you can make an anchor ring which I then attached to. Our 3 year old can no longer put the sunbeds on the edge of the deck. This allows the adults to pull the chairs out with some effort, but for now it's safe to leave the toddler on the deck. They appear to be weathering well, but time will tell.
