BBQ Pitmasters Wet Dream!

This thing is a quarry master's wet dream. Serious. Imagine you are hosting a Bar-B-Que and 6 friends join you. You have very expensive steaks ready to grill when sister Susie says she wants them well done, cousin Billy wants his damn ones almost raw, mum wants them medium rare, dad wants his medium rare, your wife wants it medium and you want yours , are absolutely rare. Well, the guesswork is simply taken out of the equation! Assuming you bought the 6-probe option, you can probe each steak and make sure they all come off the grill at the right temperature for each person. Or you can have multiple items of different sizes in the smoker at the same time, or run the smoker and cook at the same time. I also love that you can track everything on your phone. Each probe is color coded (for some reason my kit used beads on the left probe and colored probe caps on the right, see photos) and when you plug them into the appropriate port (each port has a corresponding color in the app) it is just figure out what's what. The features of the app are great. You can set each probe to a different temperature and/or timer. The temperature option gives you all kinds of presets, from well done pork to cold smoked. When everything is done, the alarm clock on the phone will turn off. You can also monitor the temperature at the central hub where the sensors are connected. It scrolls through each temperature with an arrow pointing to the corresponding sensor. Check out the video I'm including for reference. I decided to see what happens when I use all 6 sensors at the same time. I am adding photos and videos so you can see how awesome it is. I think if there was one thing I would change it would be that I could charge it with a USB hub instead of the two AA batteries it takes. But that's not enough to lower my rating. Just a preference. All of this comes in a very durable zipped storage case for organization and safekeeping. See photos and videos for an explanation of this review. The fact that I put so much effort into writing this review says a lot about the product. If anything changes I'll come back and update. But while mom is a happy tourist!
