Solid electrical connections
The biggest problem I've had with 12 volt plugs and sockets is that most of them don't hold up very well. Do these. I was having issues with my Coleman cooler causing the connectors to overheat and melt, so I installed separate power connectors for the chip and fans. I use two of these as extensions for it and have no problem turning them off. I drive a truck 6 to 11 hours a day so it's not uncommon for things to vibrate. It's not like this.
