This system works very well on our small 40 acre farm. Both cameras are located in two different sheds about 600 feet from the receiver and we had no problems with signal loss. A camera is located under the roof inside the building so weather is not an issue. The other is mounted high on a pole, totally weatherproof. The outer chamber has survived several types of rain without any problems. It was fantastic to be able to monitor both cameras from anywhere using my mobile phone. Setup couldn't be easier. Basically plug and play. Since the receiver can process up to four cameras, it can be easily expanded. For the money there is no better alternative.
