Poacher Egg didn't convince me

I've been making Benedict Eggs for years. I usually heat a shallow saucepan and add the vinegar, then add the eggs when the water is boiling. Then I scoop the eggs up with a wide, flat stainless steel spoon. I place the egg on paper towels to soak up any remaining water and then place it on top of my English muffin. I followed the instructions and wasn't impressed with the result. The reason I bought this was to keep the egg inside so I don't have chunks of egg white floating around in the pan. I didn't like scooping out floating egg whites to throw away. I also had to lightly brush the squirrels that were stuck to the sides of the pan. The first thing I noticed was that the squirrels were floating in the water outside of the pods. So the whole point of buying these pods has failed. I will admit that the egg retained its shape when I removed it from the pan as the normally white edges were jagged. I also wonder why the holders are steel lined. I gasped as I took the capsule. Couldn't the manufacturer have added an extra inch to keep the customer from touching the metal part of the handle? yes it will be hot For the price it could certainly do better. I'm really not impressed and disappointed. I dig up the floating albumin again and clean the sides of the pot. So I'm on this product.
