Removing the old starter without a lift or removing the axle took a long time but installing the starter didn't take too long. The documentation for the launcher states that the launcher has been redesigned, so I think the product page has been updated to reflect that point; I believe the product page said the starter was new when I bought it. The starter starts the car on the first try about 90% of the time; It sounds like a machine gun firing multiple shots, so I don't think it's right, and it's not like the original Honda starter sounded.
