None of the Insignia [Brand] pressure cookers are listed on the compatibility chart and I couldn't find any reviews on them either. So I took a chance and ordered this special silicone vapor valve LUX. After examining many divertors, it turned out to be the best due to the larger size and quality. After the delivery I was very satisfied. But he was a bit tall. The vapor output of my Insignia 8qt is about 1-1/2". This vapor outlet is about 1-3/4" but being made of silicone it is flexible. I used it no matter what and it stayed on during the quick release process and it pulled off vapor like it should. Some of the steam's condensate dripped onto the lid from below, but not much. I wiped it before opening the lid and everything was fine. I am not returning this item as it serves its purpose and I am concerned that the other one may be too small.
