Doesn't work in all circumstances

I couldn't fast charge my phone with it. I wanted to see the voltage and current change as the phone needs to increase the voltage during fast charging. Instead, the meter doesn't seem to allow for any current surge or voltage rise. I imagine it might work for other things where the voltage is expected to just fluctuate around 5V, not sure. I didn't return it because sometimes your time is worth more than the return price. I don't use it, but maybe one day I'll find a use for it.
