After searching everywhere for a replacement parking brake that would work in my 2000 GMC Sonoma and finding nothing, I went ahead and purchased this item knowing full well that it would not fit my truck would. After a few small modifications (I had to bend the metal bracket a bit and I added a small spring to the end of the cable) this brake worked perfectly. It's definitely not the prettiest DIY solution, but it does what I need it to do. Overall very happy with this item. It was delivered/arrived on time and was exactly as described.
