Finally a simple, sharp, durable peeler. I didn't want a fancy peeler, I just wanted a well made peeler to replace a 25 year old peeler that was boring. I bought one at a local discount store but the blade kept bending every time I used it. I had this on my wish list and hesitated as I felt it was a little pricey. I ended up buying it to raise enough money to get "free" shipping. I shouldn't have waited. That's good heavy steel. I assume it will last as long as my last peeler. The only problem I have is that I usually put my thumb in the hole on the handle to control the blade's rotation and it's too tight. However, I had no issues with the adjustment hence the 5 star rating.
