I bought these mainly as a novelty they can transform a bottle into a nice accent but they don't really do much else. I have a few empty bottles on my shelf that I put these bulbs in, but I hardly ever turn them on, the novelty just wore out. I think if I were throwing a party it would be great if they turned on all over the house in the same way they rarely make an accent but as everyday items they just don't suit me. I'll say when I have guests and hit them up, I always get compliments. Another problem is that the battery lasts about 10 hours. I guess knowing how long the batteries last I'm probably using them more than I think.
