My son is 12 years old (size 10/12 is usually too small and 14/16 is usually too big) and he is it athletic, thin. XLarge fitted him perfectly in a form-fitting hoodie. It will probably only last until March/April, which suits us. He likes the fact that it's not chubby and that it fits in a pocket and he can put it in his locker. I like the closed zip that doesn't scratch his neck and that the collar is slightly snug to keep cold air out. I bought 4 jackets and returned them before finding this one and I am very happy with the purchase and so is my son.
