The quality of this product is very high. The brick engraving is clear and detailed. The front magnet is about 3mm thick, which stands out well without being too bulky. The rear magnet is approximately 6mm thick and covered in black plastic to protect it and your shirts. The front magnet has a smooth back and polished corners to protect ties. These magnets are STRONG. If you don't have a strong grip, grab each other 1-2 inches apart. The packaging says the best way to separate them is to push them apart, which I think is true. I've tried them on my thickest ties and this tie pin won't budge. The only thing I would like to see is that there are more styles. Maybe a 12mm diameter silver circle with a 10mm blue stone in the centre? (Note, Note) I am happy with my purchase and will be buying more in the future.
