The colors are beautiful and exactly what I wanted as I plan to use 1-2 strands of each strand to add even color and give my hand embroidery design a slight shimmer. star for that. It was more expensive than I expected but rather than going to the craft store to get the exact paints I needed I decided to have these shipped and they are decently strong. 2 stars for that. I'm disappointed because so far the 2 colors weren't quite, one strand, but 2 strands tied together to make them longer. It's true that I probably don't need the full length, but I feel like it was a bit deceptive and cheap on the company's part. Instead of cutting off another whole one, they just took the 2 extra strands and tied them together. I guess I don't want to waste them, but I feel this is deceptive. If it was marked as recycled and on sale I wouldn't mind, but I was expecting new, whole strands. Winding a few strands onto the thread holders isn't much fun.
