I bought this antenna to replace a 35 year old electronic omnidirectional antenna that has seen better days. I live about 30 air miles from DC and Baltimore. I've just installed it on a pole but haven't connected it to my TV at home yet. However, I decided to test it on a TV in my detached garage. It was set up about 6 feet off the ground. I was pleasantly surprised to see that with an internal antenna that barely picked up a few channels, the TV was capable of recognizing over 66 channels in both the Washington and Baltimore markets. The permanent location is about 25 feet off the ground and I'll update the review once it's plugged in.
