Amazed how the crackling holds up in your pocket. I carry this lighter in my pocket with my keys and change every day. After a few months there will be a few tiny chips but most lighters still look brand new. I love the vintage look and the build quality. The lid is a little looser than my polished brass zipper, but it also gets a lot more use and abuse. Note that this lighter requires lighter fluid which is NOT included and will evaporate over time even if you don't use it (unlike Bic lighters which use butane).
